Creative Director
Mr Jack
Jack has been dancing since he was 7 years old in all genres of dance, Jack has a Cert 2 in Dance and a Bachelor of the Arts.
​
Jack has danced professionally all around the world, in 2017 he joined Royal Caribbean performing on Enchantment of the Seas. In 2019/2020 Jack performed on the Grand Classica as Dance Captain and Production Manager until Covid sent him home.
​
Jack has also had the opportunity to perform in The Christmas Spectacular, HAMA Productions (Crown Theatre 2020), The Boy from Oz, Platinum Entertainment (Crown Theatre 2021) and most recently Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Platinum Entertainment (Regal Theatre 2022)

Head of Company
Miss Abbey
Abbey has been dancing since the age of 2, with just shy of 10 years experience in teaching and assisting all different dance genres.
​
During her time dancing she has experienced many different training styles and programs as she moved around growing up.
​
Abbey joined BLDA in 2017 and has been teaching Lyrical, Ballet, Jazz and contemporary with us since 2018, she has a very strong passion for both dance and teaching.
This year Abbey has taken on the role of Head of Company teams as well as running our 7/u and 13/o company troupes.

Specialty Teacher
Miss Sarah
Sarah began dancing in her teen years and first started dancing in Street/Hip-hop styles at her local dance studios in the UK. Sarah has been fortunate to study various dance styles at Shockout Arts UK, where she gained her FDA degree in Professional and Commercial dance.
​
Sarah has taught dance throughout the UK as well as leading summer camp sessions and workshops within USA, where she also took on extra training in LA and New York and more recently has finished up her teaching contract in Hong Kong. Sarah also as experience in judging local UK Hip-Hop competitions.
​
Sarah has also experienced performing professionally, including a six-month tour within India in 2017, featuring in music videos, movies, and events. Credits also include dancing under award-winning Hip-Hop company Boy Blue in the Manchester showcase lead by renowned choreographer, Co-founder and Co-artistic director, Kenrick 'H2O' Sandy MBE.
As well as performing along side artist Plan B at the MEN Arena.
Sarah has recently become a qualified Acro teacher under Acrobatics arts.

Specialty Teacher
Miss Steph
Stephanie has been dancing since the age of 3 and throughout her years has trained in various dance genres.
​
This year, Stephanie will be teaching a variety of classes and styles, as well as running our 9/u and 12/u company teams.
Stephanie has completed her Cert 1&3 in dance, and in 2017 she started full time training at Ballet School in Perth, focusing on Ballet and Contemporary.
​
Stephanie has also completed three seasons with Perth City Ballet, (Mid-Summer nights dream, Giselle as a lead Will, and Swan Lake as part of the Pas de Trios and Little Swan.

Miss Teah
Teah began dancing at the age of 4 and has trained in all dance genres, Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Acro, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-hop, Ballet including Pointe, Tap and Musical Theatre.
Teah has attended numerous dance competitions across the state, as well as competing in interstate and National competitions, she has also danced in overseas performances.
​
At the age of 16, Teah furthered her dance training studying part time at the Australian Performing Arts Network (APAN) where she received her Cert IV in dance. She then went on to complete an Advance Diploma in performing arts, specializing in Commercial Jazz.

Miss Monique
Monique has trained in many genres of dance including Jazz, Ballet, Hip-hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and Heels.
Monique has been studying full time dance since the age of 15 and received a Cert IV at the Australian Performing Arts Network (APAN). Teah has also studied at Brent Street in Sydney, NSW where she received a Diploma in Professional dance (Elite Performance).
​
Throughout her training at APAN, Monique appeared in the Musicals Wizard of Oz, and Legally Blonde. She has also had the opportunity to dance at Western Force games, Telethon, and many corporate gigs in Perth., WA.

Miss Joss
Joss has been dancing since the age of 4 and moved to BLDA in 2022. Dance has shaped Joss' life and is her biggest passion.
​
Over her time dancing she has experienced and trained in many different dance genres, including Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap and Ballet.
​
Joss has obtained her Cert III in Dance and is currently studying a Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management.
